Suzy is a California native, born in Martinez.  As a small child, she moved to Mojave, where
her competitiveness was nurtured.  Suzy started playing baseball at the age of 7, and was on
the Mojave Little League All-Stars both years she was eligible.  In junior high, she played
basketball, and competed with the track and field team, setting school records for shot put.
Suzy went on in high school to play basketball and softball, was a member of the golf team,
and continued to excel in track and field.  Her senior year, she was Captain and MVP of the
girls track and field team, leading by example as she competed at the CIF qualifiers.

With all that sports history, there was one thing missing for Suzy - football.  "I played baseball
with the boys all my life, I just didn't understand why I couldn't play football with them too.  I love
the game, and was first in line for playground ball as a kid, even after oral surgery and being
given the order NOT to play.  I busted my stitches out, but I caught the ball!"

"Playing football has always been a dream for me, one that I thought would never come true.  I
thank God for giving me this opportunity to live one of my dreams.  2 Corinthians 13:13"
