Congratulations to the WPFL, LA Amazons for their outstanding season! The Amazons finished the season 7-1 to be the Division Champs, losing only to the SoCal Scorpions. The Lady Warriors faced the Scorpions again in the first round of play-offs. The Amazons defense struck first with an interception and a defensive score. They held the Scorpions to 6-0 well into the third quarter before the Scorpions stung back.
Special shout out to former Attack players Sarah Adams, Chris TenBrink, Joni Podesta, and Kim Henry. We're proud of you!

IWFL Welcomes Southern California Breakers
Southern California Breakers will join the league’s roster of teams for the 2008 season. After three great seasons in the NWFA, the Orange County Breakers may have folded, but the new Breakers promise to be just as exciting! Look for many of the OC veterans to grace the field with the new team.
“The Breakers will be a great addition to the Pacific Southwest division. Much like other new teams that have joined the IWFL recently, this team boasts a large number of veteran athletes so they should do well. It’s exciting to see the Pacific Southwest region looking so competitive this year,” stated Kezia Disney, IWFL Chief Operating Officer.
The Breakers inaugural season will feature exciting match ups against the Tucson Monsoon, New Mexico Menace and Pacific Southwest division rival California Quake.
“I am happy that the Breakers have the opportunity to play in the IWFL against remarkable teams. We definitely look forward to next season as well as the ability to make the Breakers and women’s football prominent in the community,” stated Heather Snavely, Southern California Breakers’ team Delegate.
